About GymCats Gymnastics
GymCats Gymnastics was founded over 30 years ago with the main goals of creating athletes as well as the foundations for them to succeed both in and out of sports. We start our classes as young as 20 months and continue to challenge them well into their teens. Each and every one of our classes works to improve a student’s motor skills, body and spatial awareness, lower body strength, upper body strength, as well as challenging their minds through various drills.
Gymnastics is as much a mental sport as well as a physical one. Students will be challenged not only to perform skills correctly but also to understand the mechanics that go into them. Being able to understand how skills work will allow students to not only progress quicker but also to attain a sense of self achievement that will easily translate into other aspects of their lives such as school.
Those few reasons outlined above are the reason why our mission here at GymCats Gymnastics is:
Our goal at Gym Cats is to build a physical and mental foundation for all sports and to promote athleticism and good health through participation in gymnastics.
Gym Cats coaching staff is made up of some of the most energetic and dedicated instructors in the area. All of our coaches are USAG safety certified professionals. Parents and students respect and appreciate their knowledge and experience. Our friendly staff will make your child's experience fun, educational and memorable!
